Hello friends and hellooooo Friday!!!
So happy you're here.
It' wouldn't be a Friday if I didn't link up with my girls Erika, Narci, and Andrea and share a few things that were "favorites" this week.
I have to tell you I can't really wrap my brain around the fact that today is already November 4th and Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away. THREE WEEKS!!! Do you know how quickly that's going to fly by? Okay, sorry if I've panicked you. Back to happy thoughts.
Benny sent me this Snapchat on Halloween.
Just look at these absolutely adorable girls. Here's the back story. They found a picture of Kim and I (Cassie's mom in case you're late to the party) from when we were in college dressed similar to this for Halloween and wanted to recreate it. They were super lucky to have Gigi (Kim's mom) living in town and willing to make then these totally darling skirts. I know they looked 1000 X cuter than Kim and I did. I'm pretty sure my girl is loving college life...what do you think?
This is my dresser from my room at my parents house and it's in the process of getting a face lift. Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend and be able to show you it's new personality next week.
(I was EXTREMELY nervous about taking a paint brush to this because I know how much my mom loved it...hopefully she'll love the "new improved" version.
Kent and I had a "date night" Wednesday night and went to a special preview of the movie "Hacksaw Ridge". It's being released today and is based on a true story from WWII and very intense, but a great movie. Just be ready to have your heart racing the entire second half.
P.S. When we walked out I told Kent he owed me like 1,000 chick flicks for this one. ;)
Anyway, I finally wore this sweater I bought a while back and loved it. It's so soft, comfy and just the perfect weight. I paired it with my black With and Wisdom jeans and lace up flats for a fun look. Sadly my same shoes appear to be sold out, but I found a very similar pair for you. (You can see the chaos of the painting project going on in the background)
I layered two of my favorite new necklaces. The kids gave me the short one for my birthday and I LOVE it. The long one I bought and I love it because of the mix of gold and silver. I love to wear both and this really allows for mixing and matching and I can wrap the long one like I did here for an extra layer.
In case you've been living under a rock and missed out on hearing about the AMAZING new product that was released to the public this week by Rodan + Fields let me just tell you a little about it.
